Mission
At The Assist, we know that a young athlete’s journey is often shaped by their family’s economic circumstances and the knowledge or network their parents have access to. Some families have the resources but lack the right information and guidance, while others have the knowledge but not the financial means to provide the best opportunities for their child. No matter the challenge, we are here to level the playing field.
Our mission is to support low-income and single-parent households by providing the resources, mentorship, and guidance they need to navigate their child’s athletic and academic journey. No student-athlete or parent should have to figure it out alone. Whether it’s understanding the right opportunities, accessing essential resources, or finding the right support system, we are here to bridge the gap and ensure every family feels empowered and equipped for the road ahead.
I founded The Assist because I’ve seen firsthand how the right support can change the trajectory of a young athlete’s life. This isn’t just about sports, it’s about breaking barriers, opening doors, and making sure every athlete has a real shot at success both on and off the court.

Student-Athlete Mentorship
Our Student-Athlete Mentorship Program is designed to guide young athletes through one of the most pivotal stages of their lives: the transition from middle school to high school. We believe that having a transformational coach—one who goes beyond the game to mentor, inspire, and empower—can make all the difference. Our mentors focus on developing leadership, time management, and accountability, ensuring that athletes are equipped both mentally and physically for the challenges ahead. By building a strong foundation during this crucial period, our goal is to help every athlete have the best high school athletic experience possible, both on and off the court.

Parent Advising
At the heart of our mission is supporting parents and guardians as they navigate the critical decisions that shape their child's athletic journey. We understand the weight and pressure that come with these choices—whether it’s selecting the right training, choosing between school programs, or exploring opportunities for higher-level competition. Our dedicated coaches are here to provide expert guidance, helping you understand every option and offering personalized advice tailored to your child's unique path. Sports Academy
The Assist Sports Academy is committed to developing youth through a comprehensive approach to athletic and personal growth. Our academy offers 1-on-1 and small group skill development sessions, clinics, camps, and after-school enrichment programs designed to meet athletes at every stage of their journey. For elementary school students, we emphasize fundamentals, fostering a love for the game, and instilling respect for sports. At the middle school level, our focus shifts to nurturing the student-athlete mindset. Helping students balance academics with their athletic commitments while developing the skills and discipline needed to excel.
